Justine Field, founder and principal mediator

​Justine Field is an experienced mediator with over twenty years experience in family law litigation, policy development and project management. She is skilled in all aspects of family law mediation including complex court-ordered mediations and property and financial matters. As well as being an excellent problem-solver, Justine brings respect, compassion and kindness to all mediations. 

​

Justine has a depth of understanding of the family law framework and the social context it is embedded in. In addition, her lived experience of neurodiversity and as part of the LGBTIQ+ community afford valuable insight to the diverse realities of clients' lives.

 

As a volunteer with Rainbow Families, Justine has advocated for the rights of LGBTIQ+ families through campaigns and submissions to government enquiries. She is passionate about increasing understanding of neurodiversity and has been published on a number of platforms as well as providing lived experience expertise to workplaces and other organisations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degrees in Law and Arts and Graduate Diplomas in Legal Practice and Family Dispute Resolution

  • Accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner with the Commonwealth Attorney General's Department 

  • Member Legal Aid NSW External Mediator Panel

  • Member Resolution Institute.
